The researcher used questionnaire for students self-confidence and descriptive test for the students speaking skill. The techniques of analyzing data were descriptive statistics and inferential analysis using SPSS 25.0. The researcher analyzed using normality test, homogeneity test, pearson product moment, and t-testing, whereas the inferential analysis used to prove the hypothesis test in the significance level 0.05. The result of the analysis data showed that the coefficient correlation was 0.642. It indicated that there was a high correlation between self-confidence and rspeaking skill. It included the scaled of interpretation score between 0.600 0.800 with degree of significance 5%, the score of rcounted was high than rtable (2.779 > 1.699).
