Monocyte act as pahocytes which play a role in responding to the presence of pathogenic bacteria. Rimpang bangle (Zingiber Purpureum Roxb) is one of the herbs that can be used to treat diseases because it has anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory properties. The purpose of this study was to determine the cytotoxicity of Rimpang Bangle extract on monocyte cells. The research method used was experimental research with a post test only control gropu design in monocyte cell culture in vitro.
